Kids Online Art Class

Hello friends! Allow me to introduce you to the remarkable talent of Reuben S. from Ireland. At just 13 years old, Reuben has been enriching my kids online art classes with his artistic brilliance since 2020. He's a regular attendee of the Creative Watercolor Class! Ignite Imagination & Master Colorful Techniques and Create Like the Masters: Oil Pastel Adventures Inspired by Famous Art.
A Talent All His Own
Reuben's artwork is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Each piece carries a unique charm, a testament to his meticulous attention to detail, color harmony, and composition. Take a look at his delicate watercolor masterpiece, "Flower and Bee." The seamless blend of colors and intricate details, accented by subtle pen and ink work, showcases his mastery of mixed media

More Than Just Technique
Beyond his artistic prowess, Reuben's vibrant personality shines through in our online classroom. He infuses discussions with humor and insight, often sparking playful debates on cultural differences, like the perennial 'French fries' versus 'chips' dilemma.
The global Outschool community adds a beautiful dimension to all classes allowing kids to learn about cultures and connect with peers around the world. It's a fantastic opportunity for all students to see both the similarities and differences they share. When the class is talking about the weather, Reuben seamlessly converts Celsius to Fahrenheit, bridging the gap between the different measurement systems. We've also had interesting discussions about the metric system, where Reuben shares insights about its prevalence in Ireland compared to the customary units used in the USA. It's moments like these that highlight the richness of cultural exchange in our virtual classroom.
A Published Author & Global Citizen
Did you know? Reuben is not just an artist but a published author too! Inspired by the comedic genius of Andy Stanton, Reuben's "Untitled Joke Book" promises, a riotous journey filled with laughter. Meanwhile, "The Story of Suzy and Susan," is a heartwarming yet hilariously funny story, revealing quirky surprises that you'll have to discover for yourself.

Here's another example of Reuben's brilliance: This captivating oil pastel artwork inspired by "Branch of Lemons," by Monet. The way Reuben captures the essence of light and shadow with mesmerizing blends of oil pastels is a true testament to his artistic development.
A Journey of Growth
Reuben's artistic evolution has been a privilege to witness. From mastering watercolor techniques to experimenting with oil pastels inspired by the greats like Monet, his dedication and creativity continue to soar. What's truly inspiring is his unwavering commitment to excellence, often dedicating extra time to perfect his craft.
I am so honored to have Reuben as part of my artistic family, and I can't wait to see what incredible things he creates next!
